About The tractor GUYs ...

The Tractor Guys are John Bishop and Tony Swire from Market Drayton, Shropshire. Their aim is raise £10,000 for Diabetes UK by driving two vintage tractors from John O'Groats to Lands End.

They set out from John O'Groats on May 28th 2009 and will be arriving in Land's End on June 9th 2009.

Both John and Tony have been diagnosed diabetics for more than twenty years and have lived pretty normal lives courtesy of the treatments developed by continuous research which has, and is, heavily funded by charitable donations.

So they felt it would be good to give something back to help with the development of better treatments and possibly even a cure – diabetics cost the NHS £5 billion a year.
