Another great day for The Tractor Guys who drove through the heat and the hills today to reach their destination; a B&B located east of Cumbernauld.
The scenery was beyond fabulous – Bish says, nothing compares to it, Scotland has grandeur on a spectacular scale!
They had a photo shoot with the tractors set against a dramatic backdrop for 'Tractor' magazine. They were interviewed by Polly Puller – look out for the feature in the next issue.
Despite the exhausting heat (reaching 25 degrees at times today) there was still snow on the Cairngorms.
The Tractor Guys had their first taste of city driving today as they passed through Sterling… which all went very well for them!
The great news is that last night’s BBQ which was hosted by Jim and Mary Adams raised £1,030.00 - it was sponsored by W.B. Grieve and the Aberfeldy Rotarians who presented the guys with a cheque for £100.
Tone’s brother Pete also travelled down for the evening and brought Brian Carnegie along with him who presented the guys with a cheque for £200 and Aberfeldy Distillers presented them with a 12 year old single malt whisky.
So far The Tractor Guys say the journey has been everything they’d hoped for and more.
